Hi All,

I am currently using the Brinsea Mini Advance and, while I have no complaints - it does exactly what it claims to - I am starting to find a maximum capacity of 7 eggs and no read out of humidity a little constricting.

I may build my own at some point but, right now, I think I'll probably go down the purchase route.

Probably about 20 egg capacity with nice humidity control and read out. Also, something that requires minimum supervision as my work sometimes takes me away for days at a time.

I keep LF and bantams, nothing exotic.

I am currently looking at the Brinsea Octagon 20 (with or without EX humidity option), the RCom King Suro 20, the RCom 20 and the RCom 20 Pro (drool).

I've done my homework and read the reviews but, since this is quite an investment for me on what is only a hobby at this stage, I would rather get the lowdown from people that have lived with and used this equipment. Could anyone with experience of these, or similar, bators help me out with their opinion?

Obviously, if there's one I've missed that's worth a look please point me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance for your help.

other than the humidity hurdle, have you looked at the Repti Pro? you can do turner or not, 2 shelves. if you dry hatch this works great. and as a plus, you get a 12v cord so if the power goes out you can plug it into your car or a 12v battery booster or car battery.

It heats and cools so is great in areas with a temperature swing. and can double as a mini fridge when not hatching. LOL

I have read many thing positive and negative, but I love ours.
