The mountain went quiet after I disconnected the ground from the fence.I still have 2 ground rods connected to the charger and will run another test after I get a couple strands up thanks!

your really best to put in a grounding rod, if putting in a larger fence better to put 2 or 3 grounding rods in. the grounding rods should be spaced apart, 6 or 10 feet. don't remember.

I'm hoping I won't need more than two ground rods since its only a 100 x 100 ft.area but installed 4 just in case.Thanks!
