I have no idea why this forum is SO addictive, but it is. First thing I do in the morning after I feed the chickens is come here. Ten minutes free time between chores and here I am again.

So here's the problem: DH could be getting laid off any day now.

If it last any length of time there will have to be some serious cut backs.

So, I immediately started thinking through - what can go? Well, internet and cable can go...

First I was thinking TV, but then I thought GO WITHOUT BYC

We're not there yet. But could you? Would you?

when times are tough, if it doesn't fill my pantry, fridge or gas tank, it goes.

i would probably have some sort of withdrawals that would require meds though.

DH and I discussed that, as we face lay-offs in April with his job.
He voted to keep the internet for job-hunting and printing our resumes, cover letters & such. I didn't argue.

I'm so glad. I dearly love this forum.
I never understood how people could fall in love online, but now that I have so many new friends I can totally understand!

Internet would be tough to get rid of at my house. Yes, we all enjoy surfing but my son need it for school work. Thats my story and I'm sticking to it.

I think I'd be more willing to give up the chickens before BYC. The past 2 nights I have had things to do at home and started them only to stop in the middle cuz I had to "check something on the internet" and ended up spending the next hour or two on BYC.
My name is Samantha and I am a BYC addict.
Could be worse, it's not crack.
