Could you please make the "show" selection a preference or at least session persistent.

When you look at the list of posts in a thread, the sight defaults to "New Posts". I lurk around the ducks forum most of the time and when I am up to date on my subscriptions, I like to see if I can help others who are maybe going through what I have already been through. "Ducks" has some very excellent members doing that much better than I ever could, so if they are already helping someone, I don't need to butt in and confuse things. But I would like to help those that haven't been helped yet so I choose "New Threads" which is more likely to turn up someone who hasn't been helped yet. If it is within my expertise, I can help, if not, many times I know who can and can page that member to this particular problem. The problem is when I go to look at a post, when I go back to the listing it is back in "New Posts" order. It would be much nicer if the choice could be saved with the member either until it is changed, or just for that session.

If you click on the "unanswered" then you can look at threads that haven't had replies.

Right, that is similar to clicking on "new thread", but when you come back it is back to "new posts". I understand how to change the listing, but it would be nice if I didn't have to do it every time I came back to the listing.
