couldn't help but laugh to myself

whenever my chickens hear the backdoor open they run all excitedly to the front of the run making a right racket, yesterday i took them a few cheerios out, and couldn't believe how hungry they were, they had pellets but were acting like they never been fed, so i made them some warm porridge topped off with cheerios as was a cold miserable morning, and watched as they eagerly gobbled it up, went out 10 minutes later to find all three sat in the dusting box not making a peep they looked so full and contented what a truly wonderful sight, i had to chuckle to myself

I love their antics. I could picture fat, full fluffy girls lazing around...mine do it when they give me that poor starving chicken routine....I cook for them too.
