@sheila3935, i didnt know what or actually any had black skin and innards like silkies (though like look of sultans?, but nothing explains if insides are black pigmented also like outside). well seems something is finally showing up in rosecomb egg, and now have tree marans eggs also, as well as a black bantam or game hen that i haggled down to dollar for from guys who had her loose on property with two others, a rosecomb roo, and various large game, meat and dual breeds, as they were all healthy and full crops every time visited and caught some to inspect, but no food or water so guess just free ranged as not used to eating anything but greens and loves to have water it seems though was scared of it at first, and sh has spraddle or whatever leg and was running from dogs and predators (theyd just shot coyote in act of killing others in broad daylight), as had a lot of pits tied out that were just for show and been there for while and well cared for. its interesting how quick and easy this hen is taming down from completely wild when had her first night and next day, but by evening it seemed to be tame to just not yet taking more than peck of food out of hand when was feeding guinea pig trio it made fast friends with (it attacked through cage the other male with mostly black color big guinea pig for hours, and hen is all black and am worried is game hen and attacked cause of color and it was new to the hen's then territory). narrowed the breed down to three possibilities on of which vicious game hen, one ornamental bantam game rooted hen, and one ornamental bantam still possibly crossed with game hen. worried about chicks hatching as hoped it would be good broody hen, and also concerned about introducing my cat and if this bird will immediately try to tear its eyes out too!

hehehe... chug chug chug, huh? then you all will just have to encourage me to be able to properly handle and efficiently add exponentially to my habit (though think my max normally with space would be five hens and a rooster, i have five eggs in bator, and know id take bantam birds and more eggs, so will have fun of raising, but will have to part with large breeds or most of when older... getting father on board with having chickens around their property again (i had them there years ago), as he wants good eggs and the fertilizer and cleanup mine did, as my yard and gardens were always the best when had my chickens (miracle grow eat your heart out!).
