Blame the people who decided to make Easter follow around the Paschal full moon instead of nailing down a date. That's the first full moon after the spring (vernal) equinox, which is 21 March. So depending on the phase of the moon on March 21, Easter comes and goes over the 28 day period from 22 March to 25 April.
