I told my DH that my sis and I were going to the feed store to pick up a few things. He said NO LIVE ANIMALS. I said "Of course not, honey".

OOPS. They had easter eggers!

I've wanted an ee SO bad! The lady let me get just the one because she sold me my other babies two weeks ago.

SOOOooo, Here I sit, cutest chick EVER in my lap, waiting for the S**T to hit the fan- he gets home in 20 minutes

I am SO dead!

I only have 2 babies right now. We are a very small urban operation. I have 2 'grown ups' in the yard and until today, 2 babies in the house- HE'S HOME!

He was so mad on the phone! I'm glad I told him about her while he was still at work- gave him a chance to calm down!

She is so cute! My 10 EEs came yesterday. Don't you love the cheek feathers!!! I'm really curious about what they will look like when they feather out.
I'm glad your DH isn't mad! Last week a friend of mine was picking up chicks at a feed store that had silkies and I *almost* had her pick me up one. But I was pretty certain my DH would be upset. And our coop will be at or close to max capacity when the girls grow up.
