Congratulations!! My OEGB was hatched in July, so maybe she won't be too far behind.

Watch for big girl combs. Only one of my three OEGBs has one, though the other two are developing theirs.

Shirley's still isn't all that big, but I have noticed just in the last week that she's growing wattles and her comb is getting redder. I'm watching her closely.

My sex-link, Sherry, was thisclose to being dispatched today.

• She's still is a major jerk to the pullets, chasing them away from food no matter how many feed stations I put out. Sometimes she'll run up on them just because she sees them with no food involved.
• She erratically lays eggs and they have soft or no shells more often than not.
• She's in a constant state of molt. No amount of extra protein or calcium helps either of these.
• When I said "jerk" earlier, I was being kind. And there's no reason for her continued jealous aggression 3 months later.

I put her in isolation in the side yard for a couple hours instead but it's probably not too far in the future.
