Does anybody have/or know where I can buy an egg holder that sits on your counter-top and looks kind of like a Christmas tree (but with eggs)?
When I was in New Zealand I stayed at a hostel and they had one.
It was the cutest thing!
I like the taste and fluffiness of room temp. eggs, but I want something cute to put them it.

Any Christmas tree egg holders?

Jenn,

You are amazing. I like both of those. Our counter tops are too tiny as they are.

We need a bigger home with a HUGE kitchen.

Thanks, Mahonri! Google should take the credit, though.

DBF and I are always talking about getting a different house with more land.

MORE CHEEEEEKINS!

HI THERE! That kind of "Christmas Tree" egg holder was originally designed specifically for French cafes where they stood on the counter filled with hard-boiled eggs, for the customers to eat as a snack, with their drinks!I have one that I bought in Paris in the 1960's but now I think you can buy them outside France. I would try somewhere like: www.williams.sonoma.com As I live in the UK I would try British cooking utensil-shops but I remember being impressed by Williams Sonoma's stock when I was working in the US. They were also very helpful. I hope this helps--I hope you find one soon.

There is also a type that you put the eggs in the back and they roll forward as you take one out to keep the stock rotated. I can't think what it is called right now.
