Counting before they hatch

You will see a lot of different opinions on humidity. I think it can depend on how humid or dry it is outside where you have the incubator. My hatch rate went way up when I started dry incubating until lockdown. Maybe cause it is very humid where I live, I run a room dehumidifier when I am incubating. As long as air cell is where it should be you should be fine.

Chillin' With My Peeps
I have 12 polish top knot eggs (shipped) in my incubator. Temp 100-101.5 humidity 50-54% days 1-17. On day 18 all were candled moving had air cell and removed from turning tray. I increased humidity to 65-70% I'm half way thru day 21 and nothing is happening. I guess I'm being overly anxious as this is my first time trying to hatch. Should i be doing anything at this point? Thanks in advance for the input.
I try not to do anything. I figure it's all out of our hands really, either the eggs will hatch or they won't. I don't even candle them.

It sounds like you have a good incubator. I set mine at 99.5 and leave everything thing alone until I get a chirp or pip, usually day 19.

But really I just wanted to suggest buying chicks instead of eggs, just better in every way.

My home is dry. I have forced hot air heat. I run a cool mist humidifier when I sleep so I don't get noses bleeds

I have bought chicks in the past. I have 13 6 month olds. I wanted to right incubation.
