Just sharing a coop I completed recently in case it gives anyone ideas for their own coop. It was a fun build for sure.

Some of the highlights of this one:

- All Treated Wood and a lot of reclaimed materials like the roof panels
- 2' x 6' total, so a nice thin size to back up against a house/garage etc.
- 3 Roosts for 2 birds each, so comfortably 6 chickens
- 4 Boxes, which is overkill but it fit the space nicely (Note, the boxes are 11x11 they look small in the doorway because of the 4x4 frame, but in front of the frame is a full 11x11 box).
- No ledges that they can roost or poop on and all-screen bottom (no joists!) so super easy clean.
- Upper venting for increased ventilation, etc.
- Cleanout door, Nest Door and Front Door
- Some fun trim and coloring
- And of course a green ramp, lol

I love, love, love this coop! Keep posting your projects!

Excellent job.

Thanks. I'm actually torn between 4 coop designs right now...

- A Barn with Mini Cupola
- A Western Style Saloon Coop (there are some great ones already done here on BYC)
- Another Cabin coop with whitewash and galvanized roof
- An Outhouse Coop lol.
