Hello sir's and madams!
Fellow chicken lover here, and goat mama too!
I have had backyard chickens for 3 years now. We lost our first flock of 12 beautiful girls to a horrid fox! and to our lack of experience and knowledge. I first started following BYC, looking for info a few years ago when we got our first wee chickies! boy I remember the first babies in a wagon in my office LOL!
Recently became a mom .. and I mean that in every sense of the word! to a rejected baby fainting goat. Adopted another doe from the same farm, born on the same day.
Every day I find more joy, and of course always more to learn, and to share, about all my babies!
When your human babies all "fly the coop" .. seems like suddenly there's more time to bond with other kinds of babies!
We also have two girl Aussies!
I love all the threads, support, advice and sharing I have always found on these forums!
thanks,
Rhonda
