Do you guys get your hay from up north? Good hay up there.I'm just asking cause flatbedders take alot of hay down to Texas.the fresh cut hay, clean of course is 9.50 eatch bale (50 lbs)
Let me guess, that extra rooster it turns out you had?we're butching another chicken today, it's a gamebird
nope, a henLet me guess, that extra rooster it turns out you had?
We cut our own hay,on our own farm haha We do haystacks! We have an McCormick Deering hay rake and we rake it up in piles after cutting it,and then go around the pasture, with the truck and flatbed trailer, and use hay forks and put it in the trailer, pick up all the piles, which takes more then one trailer load, and head back and unload it,and make a hay stack....
but this year the tractor kept breaking down, and we wern't able to cut hay.....SO we have another plan, range cubs, and then buying some hay,but next year we'll be back to our normal hay stacks and whatnot.
It kinda sucks though when you are loading the hay into the tailer, out in the middle of the feild and there is a freakin snake in the hay right there! haha Suprise!! Sometimes they jump out right by your boots haha I don't like snakes.....
NO,I am not a red-neck,I am a farm girl,there is a differnce.![]()

Good times, good times. Until there were mud dobbers on the line, then you had to cover your eyes because the clumps would explode when you went over them haha.
Oh cool! That's good.nope, the ranch supply store has it's plantation right by it
