Thank you guys sooooo much for your input! dlfridie I love the way you did your run I think I will be using the sandboxy kind of meathod and thanks for the pics! I'm so excited to see how all this turns out. I will definatly poast pictures when I start/finish building ( won't be for a couple of months tho!)

I look forward to seeing your setup. I use a dog crate as a tractor so the girls can get out and forage a bit. You could use one to take your hens to your friends house to graze. Have you seen that lady that takes her chicken on car rides in a car seat? Some chickens love it!
