Hello,

My wife and I started raising a couple coturnix quail that just hatched the other day and today we noticed one seems a little off. It's a little more puffed up then the others, but not by much. The biggest thing is it kinda stomps when it walks, and is constantly smacking its feet along the ground like its hopping back and forth between one foot and the other. It's active and bolting around with the others, it eats, it drink's and it seems lively, alert and it's eyes are clear. But the walk and the crouching posture have me concerned.

Coccidiosis is my biggest worry, but I haven't seen any blood or discolored droppings. This is our first batch of hatchlings so we're new to this.

When I went to remove the chicks from the incubator, there was a newly hatched one that was jammed down between the grating and the wall of the incubator. Not sure how long he had been there but by the time I got my tools to unscrew the grating, it had worked its way down below the grating. I'm wondering if maybe it might of been this little fella and it was injured?
