Couple of Questions - combs & comb types

I am wondering if someone may have an idea as to what I'm looking for.

I understand, basically, that combs are generally developing between males & females about a month's time? Right?


Now, wandering the forum a bit on that same question, is there breeds that develop combs earlier than others?

Later?


Or is it more, going off a couple of websites I visited, going off of comb types? E.g. pea, single, etc.


Any info is great.
