I am noticing that reading threads I want to correct people common courtesy is
lacking in folks or just not considering what they are doing .. You comment on threads
of I have mine doing this ? Or totally off subject empty sign.jpg I would like a open discussion

I think most people that do that are new members and they have no clue how to start a new discussion. They may also not feel comfortable starting their own thread.

I have seen some established members berate new members enough that they leave. I personally don't mind a tack on question as people learn the site.

I agree. We were all new once and it costs nothing to show a little kindness to the newer members of our community. Just a quick note pointing them in the right direction goes a long way to making them feel welcome here.

penny, just look at your BYC Friend badge, and be nice. Post a link to an appropriate thread, OR ask them to start their own thread, OR simply remind people what the topic is, and ask them to stay on topic. This is NOT the easiest site in the world to navigate for a beginner. They usually learn in time.
