I searched the archives for nesting boxes and noticed that someone mentioned that people sometimes use covered litter boxes for nesting boxes. This is so ingenious! Easy to clean, I can add more if needed, I can take them completely out of the coop to super-clean everything! Is this too good to be true? My chicks are 5 weeks old and I have 2 bantam cochins, 2 sultans and 2 wyandottes....the litter boxes should be big enough, right? I was thinking of getting 3 boxes

I've seen people actually sell the regular kitty box with lid and door as a nesting box for $40!!!!! OMG!! people will buy anything at any price! ITS A CAT BOX!!!!!! wake up people!!!! You can get them for like $15-$20... Sheeeeshh!!! But yes you can use them. They make wonderful nest boxes!

God BLess!
