Covered runs anyone? Post pics please!

I was considering a carport in hopes I could buy one a bit bigger than my run and just fit it right over the roof of my run and not have to tear anything down. My entire run is secured with hardwire cloth and buried a foot underground. My setup is like Fort Knox. We have had chickens for 2 years and nothing has gotten near them. We live near the mountains in a farm town, so we have a plethora of hawks, fox, fisher cat, opossum, raccoon, and even a few bear here and there. I won't use a tarp as I have experienced the sagging accumulation of water and snow when we had a canopy tent that had out patio furniture under it. It was a pain! I was thinking of something like this:

I don't need the legs, I wish I could just find one the exact size and plop it right on top of my run! I bet my hubby could make one??

We don't get lots of snow here in north Texas, but I documented how I built my covered run (with lots of photos) on my page here on BYC...

I hope that helps...

We used the clear plastic roofing as you can see in the pic, it allows sun in but not the rain nor snow.

We ended up using 10 panels for our run which is 9'x20' at $12 per panel.

I love all the beautiful coops. I wish people would post more pics. You can get some good ideas from that.
