COVID Chickens in Maine

Hi, I started raising chickens this year when I moved to Maine in November 2019. When COVID happened I got chickens like many other people. I have 8 Leghorn hens from Tractor Supply. We love them all; Blondie, Cinnamon, Honey, Pumpkin, Salty, Pepper, Rosemary, Nutmeg. They have been a great addition to our family. And have entertained our kids a lot while they have been stuck at home.

Chickens are a great pet for the whole family. We made a whole new hen house and I am finishing the coop article during COVID-19. It does fill the time with fun! :) Do you by chance want to share a coop article. If you have fun in the kitchen or garden there are plenty of threads for you to get involved in. Not to mention our contest.

Thanks. But it's not that new anymore! It's been in service for over a year.
I now have 30 birds in it! :oops: But in my defense, 5 are bantams. :love
