Howdy all!

My town has stricter rules about chickens than if I lived in Atlanta's city limits...BUT I am gonna have my little flock.

Anyone else out my way?

Hello! Sharpsburg here. We are in between Newnan and Peachtree City. Know anyone who is selling goats?

So glad to see there's a few other chicken folks in these parts! (I was afraid it was all big broiler farms or something!)

Don't know anyone with goats, but have you checked the Market Bulletin from the Dept. of Agriculture? They usually have all kinds of critters and plants folks are selling.

Middle Georgia here, I have my little group in my back yard right slap in the middle of a neighborhood!! )Of course we're not your average neighborhood, all the lots are several acres.) But it wouldn't matter if I was in an apartment, I'd find a way to have my chickens! All the neighbors bring their kids over to play with the chickens!!

Hey I'm a new member here and was just about to post the same thing pretty much.
I live right outside covington city limits.

What are the laws around here anyway?

Also, looking for some local places to buy some chicks. Thought about going to Patrick's feed store in covington and asking them but I am just waiting until I get my coop built.

You can go online and view the Georgia Farmers and Consumers Market Bulletin published monthly......go to the ad section and they have anything you could possibly want listed in there!
