Ok @Starburst I was thinking maybe werewolves considering the full moon is involved but it sounds dumb to me, the other thing was a meeting with a wolf pack.

Hmm...I think werewolves makes it less realistic, but it's still a good idea. I like the idea of them meeting another wolf pack...maybe their old pack?
