I don't know you and don't know whether you were just kidding or not but there are people in this world that believe everything they read on the internet as factual and some would probably try it based on your post.

Just pointing out that your suggestion is a dangerous idea so someone doesn't try it.

Carry on.

) They must be the same people they put those package warnings on plastic worms for. No lie. On every package of plastic worms I have for fishing it says "not for human consumption" That scares me...

You should bait the coyotes at night. We had a very large problem with coyotes around are house, they were getting so bad they were coming around the house during the day. Not Good!!

So hubby found a spot in the field and placed all sorts of rotting meat out for a week or two. They started coming to the food plot nightly for their snacks, so hubby set up a blind every few nights he'd go out and shoot them. He would than drag the carcass away from the food. He still left the carcass where the others could find it, as an "example". This went on for several months. He would kill one almost every week or two.

Now the population seems to be under control. We very rarely see them anymore.

Best of luck!

Only the Craiglist lady that thought Buff Orpington was the chicken's NAME would do that

Weird that someone wants money to hunt coyotes.. I've seen ads placed on craigslist in this area by people begging for places to hunt coyotes, free of charge.

If I didn't mind having strangers on my property (leaving gates open, leaving trash, etc) I could probably make some decent side money renting time to coyote hunters..

They're most likely wanting to hunt them because many localities place bounties (usually $50-$75) on coyotes; at least that's how they are here in VA."

Not to high jack the post or cause a problem

Wish we had a bounty. First started because the next farm over lost a couple calfs. Also we had an abundance of quail and phesant and a few red foxes. Coyote population exploded and now no quail, few phesants and very few reds.
