CRACK IN EGG, DAY 4 OF INCUBATING!! HELP

Hey
I am currently incubating duck eggs, and today i stood upon a problem.
I was going to fill water in the incubator, when i lifted the egg tray and an egg fell out.
The egg got a crack from the fall.
I read somewhere online that, you can apply clear nail polish on the crack, and that it then will be alright. So I did that.
Do you think it will survive? And should i keep it in the incubator?
Im on day 4 of incubating, and a pumping heart has already formed in the egg.
Also, while trying to fix the egg, I accidentally kept the incubator open. Could that have caused any harm to the other eggs, since they need to stay at a specific temperature?
I hope someone can help me, thanks.

Time will only tell. I would put it back in the incubator and then candle them all in a couple of weeks.

Personally I'd toss it out..

Some people use nail polish, some use Elmer's glue, and some use wax. Not sure what I would do, guess it would depend on the size of the crack.

Hey! I am now 2 weeks into the incubation process, and the egg with the crack, is thankfully still developing!
