Crack shell... egg safety

    Found an egg this morning in the nest box that was cracked but not leaking... would it be safe to eat? Hens have free access to oyster shells and layer feed. Thanks in advance.

    I would believe it would be ok to eat today, but I wouldn't store it for long.
