Should I use wax or leave it alone since it will be hatching in 2-3 days?

Oh noooo! My best guess is to leave it be but monitor the membrane closely, just in case it starts to dry out and harden before the chick is ready to zip. I've had success with re-hydrating the membrane with coconut oil when it's gotten too dry in cases where the chick pipped and waited a long time before zipping.
