One of my girls cracked her beak this morning. It's not bleeding, and we can isolate her if necessary. I've given her fermented mash (the usual breakfast) and a bowl of water (they usually use nipple waterers but I don't want her to peck for water). Should I take her to the vet after the holiday? Ofc 💩 always has to happen on holiday weekends). Do you recommend any home treatments? Many thanks for your help!!!

I'd carefully apply Super Glue with a Q tip to the cracked portion of her beak - definitely a two person job. I would provide moistened feed in a deep dish until she was able to eat normally.
