Cracked Corn vs Duck Feed

I've been giving them the Purina Duck Feed pellets. Can you suggest something that doesn't get sticky and goopy when wet?

The problem is not what your feeding, its how your feeding it. Also would like to point out that people make their feed sloppy and wet on pourpose, aka fermenting feed.

I ferment the feed I feed my flock it’s not sloppy wet though.

I have been using those pellets for months now and love them as do the ducks. How are you feeding them as in what are you using for a feeder? I only put enough feed in my buckets for a couple of days and it never gets soggy ever! At about 8 minutes into the video is how he made the food buckets.

I guess slop is relative.

Using a terra cotta pot or saucer can help too, depending on how many you’re feeding. Those tend to draw moisture out away from the food
