Cracked Corn

Is there a way I can crack corn at home for my chickens without buying a special grinder?

I'd rather it not be so labor intensive. If I (we) need to buy a grinder, I guess that's what we'll do. and I'm sure a kitchen blender would be out of the question, right?

A coffee grinder for one way. But you know you don't have to grind it for any but chicks. That is what the gizzard is for. The only time I use cracked corn is if I get a good price.
