Hey there! I’ve got a 3 year old lavender Orpington that’s egg bound. When we go in there, it feels like there’s one large egg underneath the vent and egg shells above the vent.
We given her the warm bath with salt, we tried vegetable oil and mineral oil. We flushed with cool water, we massaged her, and we’ve got nothing else. She’s starting to prolapse, so I’m letting her chill for now in the hospital crate.
She’s not been eating all that much but she’s been drinking. I gave her a crushed up egg but she wasn’t interested. She’s kind of pooping but it’s runny. She’s acting other wise normal, except for the vent pumping she’s doing.
