Hello all, this is my first post on the forum and I've got a question about a cracked egg.
We found a 6' Texas Rat Snake constricting our only sitting hen. She was sitting on 16 eggs before the snake. When I removed the snake there were only 4 left, she also kicked one out of the nesting box when she jumped out and it busted on the ground. I took the three remaining egg and placed them in my home made "Cooler-bator" that I had just finished. A few days later, one of the eggs developed a crack. I can see there's a developed chick still inside and the membrane looks intact, but I'm unsure if its alive. Already lost, should I throw it out?
Thanks in advance!
