CRACKED EGG?!??

so my chicken egg has a crack in it. There is a embryo in it too. I can’t tell if it’s dead or alive. The egg also have like moist spots but it’s not a droplet. the crack doesn’t look to bad

Also how do i tell if a chick is dead or alive. It’s day 15. In some eggs all i see is just a chick. I can’t tell if they’re dead

Candle it and see if you can see movement inside the egg. If you do, put melted wax on it to seal it.

i candled it and it looked like it was developing fine but the air cell looked odd. No movement but almost all of my eggs i didn’t see movement but they are developing fine

Put wax on the crack to seal it so air doesn't get in. I just had a cracked one with tiny bubbles in it, I chucked it because I don't want it ruining my hatch. I got eggs from a local farm and when I say poor quality, it's almost shocking they sell them as fertile hatching eggs.

I put sticky tape on the cracked eggs and they hatch. In fact one hatched yesterday. I dropped the egg at day 17 and made a huge hole in the air sack area. I sticky taped it and it hatched

tomorrow is lock down day. I’ll just do it then. i’m not really expecting it to hatch because the crack is making contact with the air cell.
