I am caring for chicks in my classroom.
They have all hatched BUT one of the eggs came to my class cracked!
He took ALOT longer to come out of his egg than the others and is now alot smaller than them.
I am keeping him seperate because I am scared they will pick on him
He does not stand completely up but does waddle around. He eats and peeps loud!He loves to cuddle in our hands.
We have also noticed his bottom looks almost raw!Like a big round bald spot with lots of red and irritation around it.
Is there anything I can do for him?Maybe neosporin or an ointment ?
And does anyone know what this is from??We are just assuming its all from the egg beign cracked days before he was ready to hatch!
