Cracked Eggs got smushed. Im SO SAD

I really am not having a whole lot of luck with hatching EEs and Ameraucaunas so far (Considering the two incidents ive had). I had a EE egg that had cracked and I used wax to seal it but since it was under a hen it got smushed and so did the baby that was supposed to hatch Sat or Sun

Im so BUMMED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've only got one hen who is old enough to lay and she eats all her eggs =/

About 15 days ago, we placed 10 hatching eggs under our broody (1st attempt at this). We are now down to 3 - dog stole 3, hen cracked or broke 4. We have another batch under a second broody that is due 2 weeks after the first. I'm hoping she is gentler with her eggs - so far, so good.
