Cracked eggs help!

Hi,
I have 14 pekin/Rouen/khaki Campbell eggs in a hovabator. The temp is 99.5-100 and says 60% humidity. Two of my eggs are cracking but I haven't dropped them and I have been extremely gentle, what's going on? This happened to other eggs I've had in here including quail eggs. Its like the shell is being suctioned inwards.
I put 3 thermometers in there to check temp spikes and I check it every couple hours to hand turn.

How old are the eggs? Also were you storing them in a freezer or fridge or anything?

The eggs were 24 hours old, fresh from the duck and were stored in a 60 degree room to get to room temp and Then placed in the incubator. They are on day six in there now.

Hmm then I don't have any idea unless it is a humidity issue but I doubt that since it would have to be very extreme for the humidity to crack an egg.

Are you giving your hens eggs shell or oyster shell for calcium? It sounds like you egg shells are thin and that indicates a calcium deficiency.

That might be it, our ducks are getting layer feed with oyster shell but are so picky! They avoid the oyster shell. I will try crushing it finer and mixing it in better with their food. Is there anything else I can give them to help with that?

I use a complete feed and my ducks free range so they don't need supplements in their feed. We feed all our egg shells back to the chickens and ducks free choice so they can take what they need and that works for us.

You could try crushing a calcium vitamin into a powder and adding it to their feed. You don't want your egg shells too thick when you are hatching because that can make it harder for them to pip and zip through the shell but the shells do thin a bit during incubation.
