Go to the tabs at top of page, point to the tab, a drop down window will appear click on proper category, then click on start new thread.

Greetings from Texas! The "Start a new thread" is right next to the "Post a reply" button. But in the introductions forum, the new threads are generally started by new members who are introducing themselves.
