Cracked smelly duck egg

So I currently have a broody hen sitting on two duck eggs. We are about 23 days in and I noticed today that the one egg is cracked and smelly although there seems to be a ducking inside. Usually I have had the hen cull the bad eggs but this one seems to still be sitting on it. Has anyone ever had this issue?

No, I haven't had this issue. But if the egg is cracked and rotting, you should throw it away. Best wishes!
