I finally had to post about this, because Ive now had long enough to see if ths really is a pattern or an aberration. Well, its a pattern.
I have brown egg layers and blue egg layers (EEs). The EE eggs are every bit as big as the brown eggs, so I use them for cooking a lot. When I crack the brown eggs, they crack and crumble and I have to pry them open. The EE eggs crack perfectly in half, every time. EVERY TIME. Its like theres an invisible seam around the middle of the egg, and when I tap it, it cracks there, perfectly. No little shells, no hanging up, just 2 perfect halves.
I need more of these girls, these are just great.
