Crafters! What are you planning for the new year?

Thank you so much. Last Christmas I made afghans for all 4 nephews plus 4 additional family members. Hope yours turns out great too. I also want to make a blue jean quilt for my grandbaby. It's a wonderful feeling to see the family enjoy their blankets....it's priceless. This year I gave 2 of my nephews photo frames I decorated and a quilt picture of their favorite thing (I guess that's how you would describe it). Wish i would have took a picture. One likes guitar and the other Irish stuff so I quilted a 2 fender guitars on a 8x10 back and the other was 4 four leaf clovers on same size back. Sorry if I ramble too much but I love crafting and sharing with yall.

Thanks fallenweeble! and yes a lot of love goes into my projects. I was rewarded this Christmas cause 2 of my nephews told me how much they love their afghans they got last year along with how much they use them (they are the 2 I did quilted pics for in above post).

I'll finish more paintings this year.
Here are a few.

Great paintings! Those are scenes around San Diego? They seem familiar, but that might be homesick wishful thinking on my part.

I just finished a couple aprons (one with CHICKEN fabric) and some soaping cloth sets. They are in my etsy shop. I have a friend coming over to model the aprons. My pics are not all that great.

Very nice paintings...after the last few days I wouldn't have minded being on a tropical island.

I bought the chicken quilt patterns at Joann's Fabrics...chickenranchwife, but I haven't seen it the past few times I've been there.

Thanks guys.
I keep my landscapes generic. Almost everyone says "I think was there!.....where was that?..."

I painted one for my friend from Montana. She SWEARS it is a picture of the rocky mountains from where her house used to be. Too funny.
