Craiglist add for Free Silkies

I just saw an ad on craigslist for 2 free two month old silkies. I am concerned, why would someone give away silkies. Is there probably something wrong? Are they actually mixes. Every other ad for silkies on there average selling them around $30 each. I am a little interested but don't want to open Pandora's Box either. Suggestions please

They could be sick,roos, or they may just not have the time to take care of them anymore. There's dozens of possible reasons they could be free. Your best bet is to just ask the seller if there is anything wrong with them.

Thanks. Maybe I will respond to the ad. The other problem is convincing my wife to let me get them if they are ok. Hahaha
