I got this email the other day along with an attachment which of course I did not open.

"FBI OFFICE GET BACK TO US IMMEDIATELY IF YOU DONT WANT US TO ARREST YOU AND JAIL YOU FOR YOUR OWN G0OD"​

I get those all the time when I post an ad. I have learned not to respond the people who just ask something like "do you still have the item?" Like someone else said, unless they have a specific question, I don't bother with them.

Yes, you are correct.

My bank tells me that they see a lot of fake US Postal Service Money Orders. It's unlikely that an overseas scammer would send you one of those, but be aware that there are plenty of crooks based inside the USA, too.

I get Money Orders from a local grocery store (I know the sender) and when I look at them, all I can think is how easy it would be to duplicate one of them. They are very plain.

It's hard to get paid. Money can be counterfeit. Cashiers checks, bank checks, and money orders can be fake. Personal checks are often bad.

The last scammer I had to deal with had two SC cell numbers, a secretary an both talked to me off an on for the better part of a week on the phone before I figured out the scam.

Todays paper had an article on CL listings offering a job. However the guys who fell for it were murdered!!! So please if you must meet a person do it and highly public place such as a shopping mall. Never follow a stranger home, or go with them. Never go alone, go with another adult if you are a female.

Get as many details about the person as you can and let someone know where your going.

And I get ones that say I owe or have a ticket. Only thing is they don't do this stuff by e-mail.
