Looked out the living window and saw this cranky fella sitting on top of the run netting, unable to get the chicken dinner it was hoping for.


Zoomed in. Not sure what type of hawk it is?

I looked up Meyer Hawk and it gave me a bird in the tropics. So dunno what my visitor was. At least it departed still hungry.

Hmm, very possible. Unfortunately I didn't get a good look at the front as it took off moments after I snapped the photo.

Either that or Sharp Shinned hawk looks like one of the 2 they are very similar.
