Cranky young hen or serious problem?

I have 3 girls that I got last fall. 2 from a friend that were older (4-6 years?) And a pullet I bought.
After thier initial pecking order war they have been fine ever since.

My two oldest started laying again about 2 weeks ago. My pullet, now grown, has started being *pushy* the last 3 or 4 days. It's not really normal for her behavior.
Yesterday morning I heard a terrible ruckus and thought there was something in the back yard. I couldn't see anything wrong with the girls or the yard. Today when I went out to give them treats I noticed my oldest hen is missing feathers from her wing.
ALSO the pullet laid her first egg today.. do you think this is a behavior issue or is she just new to being a chicken per se?

It's normal for pullets to get moody around the point of lay. Are you sure something else didn't try to grab your hen?
It is definitely possible but very very unlikely. She seems quite skittish around the younger one today and never was befor. We tend not to have predators around here and the way the feathers are in the coop and the pen it looks more like there was an altercation

Upon further inspection of the pen and coop I found this teeeeeny thing (egg?) In the pen. What on earth is up with these darn girls? Is it even from them

Yeppers!
Hopefully your pullet will calm down soon.

Tiny egg probably from one of your older birds coming back into lay.
Open it up and see what's inside.

Fairy, fart, wind, rooster eggs are usually from a tiny piece of tissue breaking loose from the reproductive tract, or an immature ova(yolk) and the body forms an egg around it. Color can be darker than 'normal' as the pigment coating released has to cover a much smaller area so is thicker. Can happen with any age layer, but more common with new or older layers.

I think it's explained in this excellent video, which is worth watching regardless:
