Ok - I am offering 6+ bantam cochin eggs - I have all of mine mixed at the moment and have 2 mottled roos covering them. The chicks that are pictured are some that have recently hatched from this bunch. I can ship tomorrow or at a later date. I will leave that up to the buyer. Regardless of when shipped, they will be fresh eggs.

Offering six Brown Red Turken X Copper Black Marans eggs, buyer pays shipping. The chicks should be about fifty fifty NN, fifty fifty feathered necks. The hen is really sweet and hardy and a great layer. The father has a lot of copper coloring and hatched from an extra large, VERY DARK egg. Here is a picture of the mama bird as she was a month or so from point of lay. BTW, brownred is the same thing genetically as copper black, just different breeds use different names for the same thing is my understanding. Tlfpets hatched some of these and said one came out buff colored, so I am not guaranteeing they will all be brownred.

And this is the roo she is in with now, Chester.

How many of you send more eggs than you post that you will send? Like if you post 6 eggs do you send only 6 or do you send extra? When you post 6+ how many extra do you send? Is it customary to send more than you post or only the amount that you say? Thanks!

I send extras, usually nine for six, fiften or eighteen for a dozen... sort of like that. Sometimes my "extras" will be marans eggs if I am selling Olive egger eggs, because I only have one olive egger, so getting extras of those just are impossible. I always have extra marans eggs.

I would like to offer 6+ LF Buff Orpington eggs from my NON hatchery birds. Fertility and hatch rate has been excellent here at home, and very good on shipped eggs. Nice clean, fresh, well packed eggs! Shipping is $7.00 by Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. Will ship this Sat or on Mon...your preference, but either way, the eggs will be fresh.

With my pure breeds, I try to send 8 when I say 6...and 15 when I say 12...sometimes the girls don't provide, so it doesn't work out that way.
Then I will also add extras of my mixed eggs for fun, only after verifying with the buyer that it is ok.

Wow, Schultz, your BJG must be laying way better than mine for only being 7 months old! Are all four of your BJG laying an egg everyday in order for you to get 12 of them in a decent amount of time?

Yep they have been laying consistantly 1 egg each per day since about november.
