Ok... I want to offer up some eggs ... I won't feel bad if no one bids on them!
But I thought they might be interesting to someone who loves pretty little designer chickens
All of my chickens are full-blooded except for Henny Penny
And my EE
But, she is VERY typy and her father was a Blue Wheaton Ameraucana..... so she lays a NICE egg!
The roos I have:
G. Sebright (No longer with us but he MAY be a daddy still
)
Red Frizzle Bantam Cochin (Definitely mates the girls)
Duckwing-ish Araucana... rumpless/clean faced (Have seen mating the Araucana hen)
Blue Ameraucana (Mates the girls)
Splash Ameraucana (Mates the girls)
Black Ameraucana (Head roo - Mates the girls)
Blue Wheaton Ameraucana (Mates the girls)
La Fleche (Mates the girls)
Self Blue d'Uccle (Have NOT seen mating the girls)
Black Silkie (Have seen on occasion mating the Bantam Cochins)
White Silkie (Have not seen mating anyone really other than his girl Poppet who is NOT laying yet)
Hens I have laying.....
White tailed/tufted Araucana
Brown partridgy EE... lays a NICE BIG more blue then green egg!
One of my Amer. girls is laying.... I have 3 black and 1 blue
White B. Cochin
RIR
Henny Penny.... a mutt brown egg layer... looks a lot like a New Hampshire
edited to add.... if any other hens start laying this week.. (good chance with this lovely weather) you'll get THOSE eggs too
Sooooo... you can see, it could be VERY interesting! LOL I have seen the Araucana hen (tailed and tufted) mounted by the Araucana and Ameraucana roos. So I am fairly confident that these will be nice EEs. I think my Frizzle is actually a Frazzle... if so, ALL of his offspring will be Frizzled.... and I have seen him mate the RIR on MANY occasions... so I think those could be cute! lol I've seen mainly the Ameraucana roos mating the EE... so I'm hoping for some darling EEs to add to my EE pen
**** I will gather eggs from Wed. until Sunday and then ship on Monday.... I usually get 4-5 a day. Whatever I can fit safely into a large box.... will send at least 18 eggs shipping to be $10 ****
edited to add..... I have a bunch of these in the bator now and they are doing GREAT! You can see my birds
