Crazy Baby Runner

I had one of those my Fawn an White Gracie boy she didn't let anyone intimidate her . And she is my smallest Runner. Her sister faith was so quite and shy compared to Grace. It's so comical when they just jump right in the middle of things and all the other ducks just look at them like they are nutty. Grace never went after anyone or nipped but she would even get right in the middle of the geese, with no fear of being nipped. I love that little feisty thing.

Well, then, it is wonderful that my little girl is so normal!

They are a never ending source of entertainment. Brownie's brother, Blondie, is my duck I think. I am allowed to hold him and pet him. He tucks his head under mine and chirrups at me when I hold him. He's very sweet and unassuming.

Storm... is always watching and a little sensitive. She's the one that survived extra days in shipping while her mates didn't. She tough, but a tad jumpy. She's very talkative. We can hold her, but for only so long.

I tell you these Runners are like little clowns. Grace an Faith in both pictures.

Tonight is their first night outside. They will be on the "big duck" pen. We put up a partition between the ducks so the young are still safe from Cupcake.

I am going to miss seeing their little heads pop up above the top of the indoor box at night when i am making my jewelry.
