Crazy Button chick!

I was just passing the incubator, I've had Buttons hatching for the passed couple of days just giving the last few eggs a while longer till I give up on them. I noticed one of the eggs rocking and rolling madly around i then noticed the chick has zipped a ridiculously tiny hole around the top and was trying it's best to squeeze through, poor little guy it wasn't big enough to get the top of its head through let alone it's body, lol.
I watched a few moments more gave in and helped it out, something that I don't usually do with Buttons. It seems fine though. I've hatched a lot of eggs and never seen something quite like this

silly baby! reminds me of the chipmunk who, a few years ago,tried to pull a whole apple down into it's walnut sized hole.....or "the ant that tried to move a rubber tree plant" song....they ALL had HIGH HOPES.....

glad you helped the little fella out (wouldn't normally agree with that but there's an exception to every rule )
