I would say it’s a cockerel due to to the large comb and tail feathers at that age. Vent sexing isn’t always accurate as 3 of mine were vent sexed at about that age and all 3 identified as hens. Only 1 turned out to be a hen in the end and i had to rehome the 2 cockerels.

It’s Meyer Hatchery so they do have a 100% guarantee on sexing. I have to call them between 10 and 22 weeks for my money back. I cross my fingers but she is just an odd bird. She began pulling hair out of the dogs back while sitting next to him. She does love to be handled though and will perch on a lap forever.

Update: She is hopefully a she. After a week in isolation I put her back out with the others and her attitude settled down. Her huge comb was always fire engine red and stayed that way. She got red wattles early too. I was prepared at 10 weeks to start seeing feather evidence but that never happened. She is now 19 weeks and still showing no cockerel tendencies. We are getting to the point of laying so I think it is almost safe to say pullet.
