Ifyou check out my profile, you will see on my tags that I plan to become an full time orpington breeder. Well I am on the track to doing this and have gotten a good base of orpington birds!

This is going to be my Orpington thread where I say updates on my flock, how it is going, fertile egg sales, chicken sales, and basically how it is going for me. I am really excited!

So people: WELCOME TO CCK'S ORPINGTON THREAD!

At the moment, I have

1 black orpington rooster, one years old.
1 Blue orpington rooster, 14 weeks old
4 Black orpington hens, three 1.5 years the other 2.2
5 blueorpington pullets, 14 weeks old
1 blue orpington hen, 19 months old
2 young Splash Orpington roosters, tame as, 7 weeks old
3 young 9 week old hens, 2 blue and 1 black
2 black cockerels, 9 weeks old
1 blue hen (I think it's a hen) 2 weeks old
8 fertile eggs developing under a chicken, hatching sometimes this week.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask on here, or any suggestions, I have only has 5 years of chicken experience. I am based in Taranaki. It is summer here at Christmas.

Just some tips for you: This is fine here, but we do have a https://www.backyardchickens.com/forums/pictures-stories-of-my-flock.39/ forum too you might consider. That's usually where most put their flocks to discuss with others. Sometimes those get more traffic. Up to you though.

And, just remember, no sales are allowed of anything in any forum other than our Buy/Sell/Trade forum.
